Our Healthy Lifestyle Programs are designed to support your whole well-being—mind, body, and spirit—during and after cancer.
Through gentle movement, mindfulness, and restorative practices like MBSR and walking groups, these programs help reduce stress, build resilience, and support healing in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Practice (45-minutes)
Dates & Times Vary | Zoom
These 45-minute virtual practices offer a gentle, supportive space to pause, breathe, and care for yourself. Kari Lyons-Price of Meditate Wenatchee guides participants through simple, accessible mindfulness practices designed to calm the nervous system, ease stress, and bring awareness to the present moment. No meditation experience is needed, and there’s no “right” way to participate - just show up as you are. These sessions are especially supportive for those experiencing uncertainty, emotional fatigue, physical discomfort, or overwhelm, and are open to individuals affected by cancer, caregivers, healthcare providers, and anyone curious about mindfulness.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course (8-weeks)
Every Tuesday, February 17 - April 7 at 4:00pm - 6:30pm | Stone Blossom Sangha
+ Retreat Day on Saturday, March 28 | Zoom
This 8-week course offers a supportive, evidence-based approach to managing stress, pain, and emotional overwhelm. Led by Kari Lyons-Price of Meditate Wenatchee, this course introduces practical mindfulness and self-care techniques that help activate the body’s natural relaxation response, reduce stress, and restore balance and well-being. Participants explore the healing power of compassion, learn to respond to challenges with greater awareness, and build tools they can carry into daily life. Offered in a warm environment with no prior meditation experience required. The program is FREE (a $500 value) to cancer warriors, survivors, thrivers, caregivers, and loved ones in Central Washington. Space is limited, and registration is required.
Walking Together
Second Tuesday Every Week at 8:30AM - 9:30AM | Wenatchee Valley
Bring a friend or the family and join us for a casual opportunity to move your body, connect with others, and support your well-being during the cancer journey. Walking helps improve physical strength, reduce fatigue, boost mood, and support overall wellness, all while offering meaningful connection with others who understand. We walk laps at the East Wenatchee Mall during winter months. During the warmer months, we walk along the Apple Capital Loop Trail in Wenatchee with Wenatchee Valley Humane Society dogs. No RSVP required - just come as you are and walk with us.
