About
Join us for Cancer Conversations, a monthly cancer education series designed to provide helpful information, resources, and conversations around topics that matter throughout the cancer journey. Each month features a new topic and guest presenter covering areas such as cancer prevention, treatment, survivorship, and living well with cancer.
This month, Dr. Chandra Villano, ND, will talk about A to ZZZ: Sleep and Cancer.
Getting enough quality sleep can be one of the biggest challenges during and after a cancer diagnosis. Dr. Villano will explore how cancer and its treatments can affect sleep, why restorative sleep is so important for physical and emotional well-being, and practical strategies to improve sleep quality.
Participants will learn about common causes of sleep disturbances, healthy sleep habits, relaxation techniques, and when to talk with their healthcare team about ongoing sleep concerns.
Who is this presentation for?
Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, a survivor, supporting a loved one, or just curious, this presentation will provide tools and resources to help you become an active partner in your care and wellness.
