Our Core Resources
Walking Together
Every Tuesday at East Wenatchee Mall (Dec-Mar) + Apple Capital Loop Trail (Apr-Nov)
Bring a friend or the family and join us for a casual walk and conversation every Tuesday on the Apple Capital Loop Trail - with a Wenatchee Valley Humane Society dog! This weekly gathering offers a chance to connect with others in the cancer community while enjoying a one-hour walk that caters to all fitness levels. Whether you're looking for a gentle stroll or a brisk walk, everyone is welcome to participate at their own pace. We walk laps in the East Wenatchee Mall in the winter months (Dec-Mar), and the Apple Capital Loop Trail in warmer months (Apr-Nov) with Wenatchee Valley Humane Society dogs.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Practice (45-min)
STARTING IN MAY: Second Tuesday of Every Month on Zoom
These 45-minute virtual practices offer a gentle, supportive space to pause, breathe, and care for yourself. Kari Lyons-Price of Meditate Wenatchee guides participants through simple, accessible mindfulness practices designed to calm the nervous system, ease stress, and bring awareness to the present moment. No meditation experience is needed, and there’s no “right” way to participate - just show up as you are. These sessions are especially supportive for those experiencing uncertainty, emotional fatigue, physical discomfort, or overwhelm, and are open to individuals affected by cancer, caregivers, healthcare providers, and anyone curious about mindfulness.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course (8-weeks)
Every Tuesday, March 3 - April 21 at Stone Blossom Sangha + Saturday, April 11 on Zoom
This 8-week course offers a supportive, evidence-based approach to managing stress, pain, and emotional overwhelm. Led by Kari Lyons-Price of Meditate Wenatchee, this course introduces practical mindfulness and self-care techniques that help activate the body’s natural relaxation response, reduce stress, and restore balance and well-being. Participants explore the healing power of compassion, learn to respond to challenges with greater awareness, and build tools they can carry into daily life. Offered in a warm environment with no prior meditation experience required. The program is FREE (a $500 value) to cancer warriors, survivors, thrivers, caregivers, and loved ones in Central Washington. Space is limited, and registration is required.
