About
Join us for Cancer Conversations, a monthly cancer education series designed to provide helpful information, resources, and conversations around topics that matter throughout the cancer journey. Each month features a new topic and guest presenter covering areas such as cancer prevention, treatment, survivorship, and living well with cancer.
This month, Dr. Miglany Gomila, PhD, will talk about Mental Health and Cancer
Cancer affects more than the body - it can also have a significant impact on emotional and mental well-being.
In this educational presentation, participants will explore the emotional challenges that often accompany a cancer diagnosis, learn healthy coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other difficult emotions, and discover resources that can provide support throughout treatment and survivorship.
Who is this presentation for?
Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, a survivor, supporting a loved one, or just curious, this presentation will provide tools and resources to help you become an active partner in your care and wellness.
